Anything missing is flagged. 3. **The engine calculates the price** – Imposition, overs, make-ready and press times, finishing, delivery. 4. **The estimator sends the quote** – Checks it, adjusts the margin and exports the quote and the internal job costing. ## Why it is accurate Some tools only estimate a price from thousands of old quotes. A new press or a paper price increase and the estimate is out of date. In Nytta.ai, AI only reads the enquiry. AI only extracts the job specification from the enquiry; the estimating engine then calculates the price using your production rules: imposition, overs, make-ready and press times, finishing, delivery. During onboarding we check the results against your existing estimates. ### Will Nytta.ai replace the estimator? No. It takes the routine off them – retyping enquiries and recalculating options. The estimator checks the specification, adjusts the margin and sends the quote. ### What do you need from us? A few real enquiries with your estimates for them, an overview of presses, papers and price lists, and time with your experienced estimator to fine-tune the rules. ### What if the AI reads something wrong? The estimator sees every extracted value in the editor and corrects it before the calculation. Anything missing from the enquiry is flagged, not filled in blindly. ### How long does onboarding take? It depends on the number of presses and processes. Think weeks rather than months – Nytta.ai does not replace your MIS, it adds estimating to it. ### How does it fit with our MIS? Today Nytta.ai runs alongside it: you get the customer quote as a Word file and the internal job costing as a PDF.
